REPEATABLE AI FACTORY INFRASTRUCTURE

Infrastructure for what’s next.

Athena Data Center Technologies designs, deploys and operates modular data centers built for AI factories. We work with leading power suppliers to bring capacity online, and we lease space to customers who need it.

COMPANY

We develop and operate reference AI Factories.

Athena designs data centers around the workload they will carry. For an AI factory that means starting with the compute the site has to support, then designing the cooling and space to match it.

We are a developer and operator of modular data centers. We work with leading power suppliers to deliver power to each site, and we lease space to customers who need data center capacity. We do not offer standalone electrical or site design services, and we are not a cloud provider.

Because every site is different, our data centers are built from repeatable, modular blocks. That lets the design match local conditions, and lets capacity come online in stages rather than all at once.

CAPABILITIES

What we bring to a project

Six things we take responsibility for, from the first design decision through to operating the finished data center.

01

Modular data center design

We design modular data centers for AI factories, sizing the layout, the cooling and the space around the compute the site will carry.

02

Power supplier coordination

We work with leading power suppliers to bring power to each site, and align the data center design with the supply they can deliver.

03

Cooling for AI densities

Cooling schemes are selected per project. These range from conventional air cooling through to closed-loop liquid cooling, sized to the rack densities the customer intends to deploy.

04

Modular construction

Factory-built modules and repeatable designs reduce on-site construction time and the amount of specialized labor a site needs at any one time.

05

Phased delivery

Capacity is delivered in defined stages. Early stages can begin operating while later stages are still under construction, so capital is spent as demand appears.

06

Operations and monitoring

We operate the data centers we build, monitoring power, cooling and environmental conditions and planning maintenance so each facility keeps performing as designed.

Repeatable 15 to 20MW compute building blocks.

Flexibility to refresh compute or cooling on your schedule.

MODULAR DATA CENTERS

A campus built in stages

This image shows the modular model we design to: a fenced, landscaped campus where the data halls are grouped in zones instead of one large single building. We operate the finished campus, so later stages can be built without disrupting the ones already running.

  • Data halls grouped in zones, rather than one large single building.
  • Cooling plant placed alongside the halls it serves, keeping pipe runs short.
  • Capacity added in defined stages, as demand develops.
  • Roads, laydown areas and landscaping planned for phased construction.

APPROACH

How we work with partners

We are deliberately specific about who does what. Clear scope is what makes a multi-year build stay on track.

We say yes to the right site

If a site cannot support the power or cooling a project needs, we will say so early. A project that starts with an honest constraint costs far less than one that discovers it halfway through construction.

Fixed scope, clear hand-offs

Every project is documented with defined interfaces between the utility supply, the building infrastructure and the customer’s equipment, with responsibility for each one agreed in advance.

Build for the long life of the site

Power equipment and civil works last decades; computing equipment does not. We separate the two so the long-life infrastructure stays useful as the equipment inside it changes.
